Using this website

These Website Terms & Conditions apply to your use of the AccessAbility Support Services website. By continuing to use the website, you agree to use it lawfully and in accordance with these terms.

If you do not agree with these terms, you should stop using the website. These terms do not replace any rights you have under Australian law.

02

Website information is general

We aim to keep the information on this website clear and current. However, disability supports, NDIS rules, pricing arrangements, service availability and regulatory requirements can change.

Website content is general information only. It is not legal, medical, clinical, financial or NDIS planning advice and should not be relied on as a substitute for advice specific to your circumstances.

If something matters to your support decision

Please speak with our team and, where appropriate, your support coordinator, plan manager, health professional, the NDIA or another qualified adviser before relying on website information.

03

Enquiries, referrals and service availability

Submitting a contact form, referral or enquiry does not create a participant service agreement and does not guarantee that AccessAbility Support Services can provide the requested support.

Before support begins, we may need to understand your goals, support needs, risks, funding arrangements, location, worker requirements and whether we can safely and appropriately provide the service. Any agreed services will be governed by the relevant service agreement and applicable law.

We may decline or delay a service request where we do not have appropriate capacity, capability, location coverage or other requirements needed to provide safe and suitable support.

04

NDIS information and funding

References to the NDIS are provided to help explain the types of disability supports that may be relevant. Eligibility, funding, reasonable and necessary supports and plan decisions are determined under the NDIS framework and depend on the individual participant's circumstances.

Nothing on this website guarantees that a support will be funded by the NDIS or included in a participant's plan. Participants should check their plan, funding management arrangements and current NDIS guidance before committing to a support.

05

Acceptable use

You must not use this website in a way that is unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, abusive or that could interfere with the security or operation of the website. This includes attempting to gain unauthorised access to systems, introducing malicious code, scraping or copying content at scale without permission, or using forms to send spam or harmful material.

06

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, website text, branding, graphics, layout, original images and other content are owned by or licensed to AccessAbility Support Services and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may view or print website content for personal, non-commercial use. You must not reproduce, publish, modify, sell or commercially exploit website content without permission, except where the law allows it.

07

External websites and third-party information

Our website may link to third-party websites such as the NDIS, NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, OAIC, maps or social media platforms. Those websites are controlled by third parties and may have their own terms, privacy practices and accessibility standards.

A link does not necessarily mean that we endorse every statement, product or service on the external website.

08

Liability and your legal rights

To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that this website will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure or free from technical issues, or that all information will remain current at all times.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, remedy or other protection that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.

09

Privacy

When you provide personal information through this website, we handle it in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable privacy law.

Please avoid sending highly sensitive information through a general website enquiry unless it is reasonably necessary. If detailed support or health information is required, our team may arrange a more appropriate way to collect it.

10

Changes to these terms and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes to the website, our services or applicable requirements. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date.

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Queensland, Australia. Any dispute concerning these website terms is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts and tribunals that have authority in Queensland, subject to any rights that apply under Australian law.
